Winter Wonderland at Winstanley
Christmas has officially arrived at Winstanley College! The last couple of weeks of term have seen a whole host of festivities including Christmas jumper day in aid of Save the Children, a Christmas production of the Addams Family and, of course, their spectacular annual winter wonderland.
Winter wonderland unveiled a range of stalls, grottos, candy and even a visit from Santa’s reindeer, all of which was accompanied by college bands playing a selection of Christmas songs.
The event is all done in the name of charity and this year, along with Save the Children, charities included Enliven Mama Africa, Centre Point and The Storehouse Project.
Louise Tipping, College principal said: “A big ‘well done’ to everyone who helped out and supported the events, we are certainly feeling festive and ready for the Christmas hols!”
