Satis Education announce new partnership with Wrigleys
Satis Education has partnered with Wrigleys Solicitors to offer a new comprehensive service for academy trusts.
Together, the two companies will deliver a governance review service for academy trusts which assesses and reports on the governance function and provides targeted recommendations and support where action is required.
Given the unprecedented times, the launch of the new offering is very timely and will be beneficial for schools and academies as it will allow them to conduct a thorough review and highlight any challenges that might have arisen during the crisis.
Educate Awards sponsor, Satis Education is a social enterprise which offers executive leadership recruitment and consultancy services to the education sector.
Founded by Helen Stevenson and Laura McGunigle, its team boasts first-hand practical experience of governance in academy trusts, with a portfolio that spans visioning (including the development of growth plans and operating models), governance reviews, health checks and developing governance frameworks.
Wrigleys’ team of dedicated lawyers work with a range of academy trusts and have encountered and resolved many different governance issues. The firm has an in-depth understanding of the governance and compliance framework.
Speaking about the partnership, Helen Stevenson, said: “We are thrilled to have teamed up with Wrigleys Solicitors. Having worked with the firm almost two years ago, we recognised that our shared values and complimentary skill sets could create a unique offering that helps academy trusts conduct external governance reviews.
“After a difficult few months, many academy trusts will be thinking strategically and looking at what worked well and what could have worked better. As academy trusts must comply with the Academies Financial Handbook with regards to conducting reviews, an external review service like this will identify areas that can be improved and recommend best practice that most suits your trust.”
