Neighbourhood Policing Week at Alsop
As part of Neighbourhood Policing Week the Assistant Chief Constable, ACC Jon Roy visited Alsop High School to speak about community policing and launch a new boxing initiative led by Merseyside Police.
During his visit to Alsop High School ACC Jon Roy met with student leaders and discussed community policing issues. The student leaders discussed everyday issues and were able to speak about how young people would like to see their community re-engage as we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr Paul Masher, headteacher said: “As a school we are pleased to engage with Merseyside Police for the delivery of community initiatives. Alsop is uniquely placed at the hub of North Liverpool, and working with community partners we can renew our neighbourhood to create places where people, both young and old, can meet and flourish.”
