Book a stall at Abbot’s Lea School’s upcoming Christmas Fair

A specialist school in Woolton is offering small businesses and artisans the opportunity to showcase their bespoke products and crafts at its annual Christmas Fair taking place on Saturday 25 November, from 12pm – 3pm in its historic Grade II listed grounds in Woolton.

Abbot’s Lea School delivers high-quality specialist holistic education for students aged 3-19 living with autism and other complex needs. Situated on Beaconsfield Road, the school has been hosting its Christmas Fair for eight years and it has become a key date in the school’s calendar.

This year, the school is excited to expand its offerings and provide local small businesses and artisans the opportunity to sell their products and crafts to a large and enthusiastic audience.

The opportunity is perfect for those who make their own Christmas decorations, gifts or homemade food products such as jams, chutneys, cheeses and sweet treats.

Guaranteed to spread festive cheer to one and all, the event is open to families and friends of the school, and also the local community. Attendees can partake in a range of merry games, and also indulge in delicious home-baked goods. A very special guest is also set to make an appearance!

Headteacher, Mrs Ania Hildrey, said: “Preparations are well underway for another memorable Christmas Fair. The festive spirit is beginning to build amongst students, families and staff, and we are all very excited at the prospect of welcoming family, friends, and members of the local community to Abbot’s Lea School this Christmas.

“We are so proud of our school and love working with the members of our community and the public to help raise awareness of neurodiversity and also to raise funds for our students’ fantastic experiences. Every penny made will go directly to the students’ outdoor learning opportunities, including residential trips open to all!

“The event wouldn’t be what it is today without our stallholders and we are keen to invite local artisans to join us in making this event a magical experience for all, as we share the joy and goodwill that defines this special time of year.”

For those who would like to set up their own stall at the fair, a minimum donation of £25 is required to secure your place. This can be arranged by emailing the reception team at reception@abbotsleaschool.co.uk.

All funds raised by the school at the Christmas Fair will go directly back to the students, supporting their unique educational and personal development journeys at Abbot’s Lea School.
