Apps for Good launch new career series for 2025

Apps for Good has announced the launch of its brand-new career series for 2025, offering students and school leaders the chance to engage with real-world industry professionals.

Starting on Tuesday, 25 February, the series will be available for exploration on the Apps for Good website, just in time for National Careers Week in early March.

The bitesize career series consists of 30-minute pre-recorded sessions, connecting Key Stage 3 students (though beneficial for learners of all ages) and school leaders with experts from renowned companies such as Spotify and Lego.

The sessions will provide inspiring role models and valuable insights into careers within the tech industry, including topics such as creativity in tech, non-traditional career paths, and the importance of essential skills. Industry professionals share personal stories and offer practical advice that aims to empower students to explore exciting opportunities in the digital world.

Additionally, the series includes a dedicated session for school leaders, focusing on staff wellbeing. In partnership with the Spectris Foundation, this session features HR professionals offering actionable strategies and tips to promote wellbeing within a school environment.

All of the career series content is pre-recorded, allowing easy access anytime via the Apps for Good website. Simply sign up to gain access to the full library of career sessions.
