Alsop to host schools fundraising seminar

Alsop High School are hosting a Schools Fundraising Seminar on Tuesday 18 June 2019 from 1.30pm.
It will be an informal, interactive, half-day event aimed to raise the awareness and skills level of anybody engaged in raising funds for schools.
The seminar will be led by Nick Ryan, principal of Vantage Fundraising and author of Raising Funds for Your School.
Each delegate will receive a free copy of the book. Attendance fee is £59 + vat.
The Schools Fundraising Seminar will be useful to anyone engaged in raising money for schools, or motivating others to do so, including: headteachers, school business managers, school governors, PTA chairs – or anyone else helping to secure new resources for the education sector.
The programme for the event will include donor motivations, fundraising stages, fundraising sources, campaigns and ethical considerations.
As a result of the seminar, you will be able to tailor different fundraising approaches to different categories of funder, whether businesses, trusts or individuals and write fundraising requests and proposals that work.
