The centre offers free visits for Merseyside & Halton schools and community groups at the purpose built facility. Featuring a visually stimulating classroom and a viewing walkway, so everyone gets a bird’s eye view of the industrial processes of the Materials Recovery Facility.
The centre has been awarded the Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) Quality Badge and is also a Children’s University Learning Destination, visits are fast paced with hands on learning opportunities. All sessions are led by a qualified teacher.
