Learning without limits at Childwall Sports and Science Academy
Leaders at Childwall Sports and Science Academy (CSSA) make every effort to ensure that learning has no limits within their school community.
This year’s exam results demonstrate the improvements recognised in the recent 2021 OFSTED report. The hard work and commitment of staff, students, and parents, throughout yet another difficult year is evident in the well-deserved success that can be celebrated.
Staff at Childwall have ensured that all students remained engaged in live learning throughout lockdown and every effort has been made to cover the well-designed curriculum to the highest level. Student attainment and progress has improved significantly in all year groups. 100% of sixth form students were offered their first-choice destination.
Headteacher, Ms Vincent said: “Childwall is an ambitious learning community. We value our ability to read and understand language for our learning.
“Teachers in our school continue to learn and we make every effort to explore new opportunities that will prepare our students for their future careers or chosen pathways.
“The academic success rewarded to Childwall students in recent years is well deserved and I have no doubt this will continue. We have high expectations of each other and that shows when you visit our school.”
Ms Vincent added: “Childwall Sports and Science Academy will be oversubscribed for Year 7 in September, for the third consecutive year. Sixth form enrolment is expected to reach record levels due to the successful and popular curriculum pathways that are available for students to study at Key Stage 5.
