Prestigious Gold Mark for Our Lady Immaculate

Our Lady Immaculate Catholic Primary School in Everton has picked up a prestigious gold mark for its sport and physical education provision.

The school was presented with the School Games Gold Mark by Liverpool School Sport Partnership (LSSP).

The awards are given to schools which meet set criteria, including demonstrating a positive approach to delivering physical activity; providing opportunities for all young people to participate in sport and by hosting a calendar of competitions throughout the year.

Liverpool School Sport Partnership (LSSP) works in partnership with schools to promote, develop and enhance PE, school sport and healthy lifestyles.

Suzanne Ramsey from LSSP presented the award to headteacher Mrs Sergeant, PE co-ordinator Mr Garth and sporting pupils Katie Tratnor and James Wamulo.
