It’s a knockout

In the short space of two months the pupils of All Saints Primary School became the cast of Bugsy Malone. The children were introduced to the Alan Parker musical and worked tirelessly to develop strong American accents, deadpan acting and exuberant singing. Pupils showed resilience and confidence along the way, culminating in two evening performances that brought the house down. The children completely enjoyed the experience and were bursting with pride after the final performance, with several children asking, “Can we do it again tomorrow?” The audience were generous with their praise and positive comments giving the children standing ovations each time. Parents were amazed at the ability of their children to command the attention of an audience for nearly two hours.
